Assalamualaikum
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is considered the holiest month for Muslims. It is a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community for Muslims worldwide. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, abstaining from food, drink, smoking, and other physical needs. The fast is broken each evening with a meal called iftar and before dawn with a meal called suhoor. It is also a time for increased prayer, reading of the Quran, charitable acts, and strengthening relationships with family and community. Ramadan ends with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of fasting and is a time of joy, gratitude, and giving.
Ramadan Kareem! May this month be filled with blessings, peace, and spiritual growth for you and your loved ones.
